Transition in the Pub – Wednesday June 25 – With special guest speaker
Hi TD,
Bundoora Farmers Market cycle outing 3rd May
TD is doing another bike ride on the 3rd May, following the successful one in March.
We will meet at 9.15am at Darebin parklands entrance on Separation st – which is the most easterly end (note: the train gets into Alphington station at 9.05 and it is a short ride from there). If you could let me know if you are keen to join us that would be great. Children are very welcome, and this will be a leisurely cycle which should take us under an hour each way. Make sure you bring your panniers with you, so that you can take some fresh veggies and goodies home with you on the way back.
Market specials are the huge field mushrooms which are delish, and the smoked hocks of ham for a yummy winter soup. The tea stall is worth perusing as is the honey stall, and the 100% Australian peanut butter is made of – you guessed it. Bring a mug with you too for your morning coffee and there are plenty of tasty treats to choose from.
We hope you can join us on this trail, it will be off road the whole way. Register interest with ecoze@ixa.net.au.
