Food Swaps

Reservoir

The next food swap will be on Saturday December 16, from 10 to 11 am.  It can be found at the pop up park on corner of Broadway  and Cheddar Rd. Reservoir.

Really Really Free Market End of Year Celebration

Come and join the Really Really Free Market (Preston) community for an end of year celebration lunch which will replace the market for the month of December, as it falls on NYE and many of us are busy. !

Has been a big year for us market goers – from our first RRFM earlier in 2017, we have seen the market grow and transform just like the friendships built along the way. We have come together to share and co-create a beautiful event. Let’s celebrate!

BRING: Yourself, friends, some food to share (but only if you can, no obligations, there will be plenty for all!). There will be a kitchen you can use if you want to cook-up together beforehand at 11am.

WHEN: Sunday December 17th, 12.30-2.30pm. If you would like to be a part of a communal cook-up, come at 11am to the scout hall; we will prepare some food together. Bring anything you’d like to contribute (food or drinks), or just yourself!

WHERE: Just North of Murray Road, Preston, along the Railway Reserve Bike Path (extension of St. Georges Rd Bike Path). See map in comments section if unsure.
Bike: Its along the path, so suited for cyclists.
Train: 50m Walk from Preston Station, Nearby 86 Tram and High St. Buses.
Car: Ample Parking at Preston Station. In the interests of the residents in Stanworth Ct, please do not park there!
Low mobility access: Drop off at Stanworth Ct, the market is a few meters along a unpathed path.

ALL WELCOME, kid friendly, no drugs (inc alcohol).

Food Swaps – Northcote

The next Northcote food swap will be on Saturday January 13, from 11 to 12 pm.  It can be found at 251 High St Northcote in the side garden of the church.

Our Apple Tree – Working Bee

Come one, come all, to this month’s Apple Tree Working Bee.  Come and support a green space initiative, and make the area better for all.

Where: Garden next to 123 Herbert Street, Northcote

When: Sunday January 14, 2 pm onwards.

Entry filed under: Uncategorized.
