HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?
Come along, no obligations to bring anything, all welcome. If you are interested in having a stall you can get in touch with the RRFM via FB or just bring your free ‘goods or service’ on the day and find us at the Info Tent! Don’t forget to take any of your untaken belongings home with you!

If you are interested in helping coordinate the event let us know – this is a volunteer run community event, if you have some time to coordinate, promote, or help on the day, please do get in touch! Many hands make light work!

The Really Really Free Market pops up in a place with a not-so-free history; we acknowledge that the sovereinty of the Wurundjeri people has never been ceded, the so called ‘Batman Treaty’ was misleading and is invalid. Oppression and genocide of First Nations people is ongoing and continues to this day. We would also like to pay our respects to all oppressed people, and elders, past, present and future.

Food Swaps – Northcote

The next Northcote food swap will be on Saturday December 9, from 11 to 12 pm.  It can be found at 251 High St Northcote in the side garden of the church.

Food Swaps are an occasion to meet your community, talk about gardens and sustainability and swap excess produce from your garden, or something you made in your kitchen. You bring some and get to take some away as with all good swaps.

Ideas of what to bring:

  • seeds from your garden
  • seedlings
  • fruit
  • vegetables
  • herbs
  • preserves
  • cordials
  • sour dough starter

The list goes on…
