21 March, 2014 at 9:48 am Leave a comment

Hello Transitioners,

Like to learn about the Kumchi ferment, an ancient food preservation technique? Reade Smith will be demonstrating for TD 2-3.30pm on Sunday 23rd March, at Leinster GroveCommunityCentre, corner Leinster Grove and Woolton Ave, Thornbury. Cost will be as you see fit – pay on leaving what you feel it was worth. You can learn, or also make Kumchi on the day.

There are over 200 regional recipes so if someone wants to bring along some unconventional, home grown or heirloom Asian vegetables, that is ok…bok-choy and brocollini have been used successfully!

Please email transitiondarebin@gmail.com  if you would like to attend this event!
