Invitation to Darebin Sustainable Food Leaders Forum 2013

Any TD members who are involved in local food initiatives may be interested in the city of Darebin’s second Sustainable Food Leaders Forum for 2013.
This will be held in the Function Room, Council Offices High Street Preston, on Tuesday evening, 3rd December from 5:30 – 7:30pm.
At this forum we will follow up on the topics discussed at our first forum in March, including the practical application of the new Naturestrip Planting Guidelines, community food growing case studies and introducing 3000 acres and the VicTrack land planting proposal for Darebin.
Come along and network with other community members who are passionate about building a more sustainable food future. The forum is designed to be interactive so that everyone attending can have the opportunity to help shape Council’s Sustainable Food and Food Security agenda into the future.
Light refreshments will be provided.
