Share * Make * Mend

Here’s the updated program… note the urban orchards tour will probably kick off at 2:30 but may run a couple of times as needed, and the food swap will largely be 2-3:30.
Don’t forget to bring along anything you’d like to swap – clothes, books, food – or for repair/advice – broken jewellery, bags, bicycles, ceramics, clothing, shoes, small electrical appliances, toys and umbrellas. Don’t worry if you don’t have anything to bring – you’ll most likely make someone happy by giving something a good home!
And most especially, don’t forget to join the facebook event and invite your friends!
Want to learn some practical DIY skills, be creative and more environmentally sustainable? On Saturday 1 June, Transition Darebin and the Sharehood are bringing together a diverse range of workshops to share skills in making and mending.
To mark Global Sharing Day in Melbourne, join us for an afternoon of free workshops, a food swap, clothes and book swap and kids’ entertainment, from 1.30 – 4pm at Northcote Uniting Church, 251 High St, Northcote. Draft program below.
If you’d like to help on the day we’d love to hear from you! (email gatherings[at]transitiondarebin.org.au)

Hi Nikki, yes, most of the activities will actually take place inside the hall… we also have some cover outdoors if need be.
